About the event

Come join us for a unique Social Dieta experience

a modern pathway into the ancient Shipibo tradition of connecting with

the spirit of a master plant, held in a deeply supportive and community-oriented container.

This special offering is designed for those who wish to enter the dieta while still living their daily life, yet without losing the depth, integrity, and transformational power of the practice. Especially during the winter months—when nature invites us inward, into reflection and simplicity—this dieta becomes a powerful ally. Many people find that this season naturally supports stillness, creativity, and inner listening, making it an ideal time to begin.

What is a dieta?

A Plant Dieta is a sacred healing path rooted in the Amazonian traditions of the Shipibo-Conibo people. At its core, a dieta is a conscious, disciplined relationship with the spirit of a master plant. Through this communion, the plant becomes a teacher, a healer, and a lifelong ally.

Traditionally, the dieta includes strict protocols: no salt, no sugar, no sexual activity, no alcohol or drugs, and minimal sensory input. Foods are simple—green plantains, rice, fish—allowing the body to quiet down so the inner world can open. Long periods of solitude and silence create a space where deep energetic and spiritual communication becomes possible.

In a social dieta, the same principles apply, but you remain engaged with everyday life. You continue working, interacting, and moving through the world—while holding the container of the dieta with awareness, discipline, and respect. This approach allows the plant spirit’s teachings to weave directly into your daily patterns, relationships, and creative expression.

What the dieta can open for you

Many people experience that the dieta:

  • opens the voice — making singing more natural, intuitive, and emotionally alive

  • unlocks creativity, bringing inspiration into writing, music, art, and problem-solving

  • awakens intuition, clarity, and inner guidance

  • offers a lifelong ally, a plant spirit supporting you long after the dieta has formally closed

  • creates space for emotional release, energetic realignment, and renewed purpose

A dieta is ultimately an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and allow the wisdom of nature to guide you. It is a path of transformation that continues to unfold slowly and gracefully over time.

Your Social Dieta includes:

  • 2 opening ceremonies to initiate your dieta with clarity and intention

  • 2 closing ceremonies to integrate and seal the process

  • 2 private calls per week for personalized guidance and support

  • 2 group calls per week to connect, learn together, and share your unfolding process

  • A Shipibo language course created specifically for dieta students

  • A Shipibo plant dieta held with traditional protocols, adapted to modern life

Your investment $1,900

ceremony weekend $750

two weeks of dieta $400

This retreat is hosted by Mario & Carolyn

Still Unsure About Drinking Ayahuasca?

We understand that choosing to drink ayahuasca for the first time—or even the tenth—can bring up many questions and hesitations. One of the most common concerns is about the right dosage.

To support you in feeling safe and well-informed, we’ve written a short blog post that explains how we approach dosage, especially for those who are new, sensitive, or simply unsure.

Take your time. Trust builds slowly. You don’t need to rush anything. This journey is yours.
